For every Foggy day in August we will have a winter storm the following winter.<\/p>\n
August 2016 – 15\u00a0days\u00a0had Fog.
\nAugust 2017 – 19 days had Fog.
\nAugust 2018 – 27 days had Fog. (We are in trouble)<\/p>\n
2016-17 Winter Season Analysis: \u00a0If you count the “days” of snow below instead of the “Storms”, we are only one-off. \u00a0Check the chart below.<\/p>\n
2017-18 Winter Season Analysis:\u00a0 Take a look at the data below and you will see we had a perfect match.\u00a0 Nineteen days of Fog in August 2017 and Nineteen days of “Snow Events” during the winter of 2017-18.<\/p>\n
2018-19 Winter Storm Analysis: By eliminating the .5’s the count is spot on.<\/p>\n
2019-20 Winter Storm Analysis:\u00a0 Record keeping was spotty but storm counts did not live up to August’s Fog.<\/p>\n
For 2017 we have added a “Scale of Fog”. We will see what the Winter Brings.<\/p>\n
