E.D. Church Bowling League<\/u><\/strong><\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

By-Laws<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

2024-25<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Each Bowler will pay $15.00 each week, for 34 weeks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Each 5-person team will pay $75.00 each week, for 34 weeks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Each bowler will use their book average from last year for the first four weeks or until they have bowled 12 games in the current season.\u00a0 Any bowler that did not bowl twelve games in the previous season should follow the \u201cNew Bowler\u201d rule for the following season.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. A new bowler must bowl 3 games to establish an average.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Team handicap will be 100% of scratch 1000.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Handicap will be included in scores for high team series and game scores.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Scoring – 1 point for each game and 1 point for total pins.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Bowlers must bowl at least 2\/3 of games to be eligible for individual prizes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. We will bowl a total of 35 weeks, beginning the Monday before Labor Day**.\u00a0 Each half will be 17 weeks.\u00a0 On week 35 the winners of each half will Roll-Off for the championship.\u00a0 Those teams not in the roll-off will have an \u201cIndividual No-tap tournament\u201d. **Any year Christmas and New Years affects the schedule it will be determined how to handle it that year, at the previous year\u2019s business meeting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. Each team may have only 8 members on the roster.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  11. Absentee bowlers (Blind Score), we will use bowler\u2019s average minus 15 pins for each game missed.\u00a0 No team can bowl with less than three members present.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  12. In cases of a team canceling a night, they will have two weeks to make up the games.\u00a0 To cancel for any reason the team captain should notify either the president or the secretary of the league at least 1 hour before scheduled games.\u00a0 Teams may bowl the sheet to make up games.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  13. In cases of bad weather, the league officers will decide whether to cancel or not, before 5:45PM and notify the lanes.\u00a0 Each captain can then call the lanes and notify their team members.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  14. The president receives $5.00 per year for expenses.\u00a0 The secretary receives $21.00 per team plus $5.00 for expenses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  15. Each team may have 12 people attend the banquet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  16. Start games on time and keep interest in the game so we can finish on time. Practice balls at 6:25PM. Games start at 6:35PM.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  17. No bowler may start the game after the 5th frame but may join the game using blind score for games missed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  18. One member from each team should be at the scoring table.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  19. Our league will be sanctioned with the United States Bowling Congress.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  20. The team winning the league championship will receive their choice of $50.00 or trophies.\u00a0 The runner-up team will receive $25.00.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  21. Each team or individual may receive only one prize.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
